Another week down and another lovely weekend to enjoy (complete with this lovely little weekly reading list of course)! I don’t know what happened this week, but did it ever pass by in a flash! Monday saw the announcement of a new collaboration between Nanny Shecando and new nannying agency The Collective Kid. We’re working on an Australia-wide project, called Nothing But Nannies Breakfast’s, to encourage those in the in-home childcare profession to network and grow their connections, skills and passions. It’s something I’m very passionate about here on the blog, and in essence you could say that promoting the nanny industry through networking and partnerships is kind of the blog’s manifesto.

Monday was also my birthday, and so I shared 10 birthday party essentials to help you pull together a magical and memorable kids party in a flash. My birthday was a special day, I spent it at work with the kiddies as per any other day. Miss7 had insisted that I must not work on my birthday and that I should instead be pampered and looked after. She then realised that for her to be able to do that before she had to go off to school, to let me sit on the couch whilst she made me breakfast I’d need to arrive an hour earlier to work. Of course when it came to the actual day, she’d forgotten. So whilst I loved the sentiment, I think I would have preferred an extra hour in bed instead of arriving even earlier than usual to work.

As usual I’m behind of my lovely blog reading, and other related information from around the web. It seems to be a conundrum I just can’t get sorted at the moment. The dilemma between wanting to read all the material because it’s full of inspiring, education, motivational and shareable content that will help me in my own endeavours but also not having the time to dedicate towards it because of my own endeavours..
However, on that note, here’s a few gems from around the web this week in a neat little list to make it easy for you.
